More than 83.4% of Village Officials Have Participated in P3PD Training

SOUTH SUMATRA – 4,195 village officials have participated in Village Governance and Development Strengthening Programme (P3PD) training in South Sumatra.

This number reaches 83.4 percent of overall target.

Meanwhile, number of villages that have been trained has reached 1,071 villages from target of 1,263 villages.

It was said by The Secretary of Ditjen Pemdes of Kemendagri Paudah during her speech on the closing of training to increase capacity of village officials and P3PD village institutional administrators on Wednesday (8/11)

P3PD currently has made many significant contributions to development in villages throughout Indonesia.

Improving quality of village spending will ultimately contribute to reduce reduction and developing rural area.

Good quality spending is spending that meets the needs of the community and is able to increase the quantity and quality of health, education, and income which in turn is able to provide welfare.

Paudah said, based on data from National Management Consultant (NMC) of South Sumatra Province, around 4,195 village officials had been trained out of target of 5,052 participants.

“Based on data, we have been trained 98,313 participants from 131,610 participants to take P3PD training program,” ungkapnya.

Meanwhile, Acting Governor of South Sumatra Agus Fathoni said that P3PD training is very important. 

Because according to him, village officials cannot carry out their duties properly without knowledge.

“P3PD is very important because it will provide provisions for village officials to be able to carry out their duties as well as possible,” said Agus.
