THE EDITOR – A Quiz Competition became one of the events of the 2024 Nusa Penida Festival held at State Primary School (SDN) 1 Lembongan, Nusa Penida Sub-District, on Thursday (10/10/2024).
Acting Regent of Klungkung I Nyoman Jendrika took his time to watch this competition which was attended by junior high school students in Nusa Penida Sub-District.

According to him, this competition was held in order to help the students to understand and care about nature conservation in Nusa Penida.
“With the hope of forming the next generation of conservationists on the island to face the challenges of nature conservation in the future,” he said in a statement received by The Editor.
A total of four teams from various junior high schools in Nusa Penida Sub-District won the competition.
The first place was won by State Junior High School (SMPN) 1 Nusa Penida, who performed brilliantly by answering the majority of questions correctly.
The second place was taken by SMPN 3 Nusa Penida, followed by SMPN 6 Nusa Penida in the third place, and SMPN 2 Nusa Penida as the fourth winner.
Each winning team received an award that included a trophy, certificate, and additional prizes in the form of gifts and tumblers as a symbol of the environmentally friendly movement.
These prizes were also given to all competition participants as a form of appreciation for their participation in environmental conservation efforts.
