JAKARTA – Purwadi Arianto was officially appointed as Deputy Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) in the Merah Putih Cabinet for the 2024–2029 period. Along with 55 other deputy ministers, he was sworn in by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace, Monday (21/10).
A total of 56 deputy ministers who were inaugurated will assist the Merah Putih Cabinet Ministers for the next five years. During the inauguration, Deputy Minister of PANRB Purwadi Arianto took the oath of office in front of President Prabowo.
“By Allah, I swear that I will be faithful to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and that I will carry out all laws and regulations in the most straightforward manner for the sake of my service to the nation and state,” he said as he followed the President’s dictation of the oath of office.
“In carrying out my duties, I will uphold the ethics of office, work to the best of my ability, with a full sense of responsibility,” he continued.
The appointment of Purwadi Arianto as Minister of PANRB is stipulated in Presidential Decree No. 73/M of 2024 on the Appointment of Deputy Minister of State of the Merah Putih Cabinet for the Period of 2024–2029.
Prior to being appointed as Deputy Minister of PANRB, Purwadi Arianto served as Head of the National Police Education and Training Institute for the period 2023-2024.
The three-star police general has also served as Deputy Chief of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police. Now, Purwadi Arianto is entrusted with the task of assisting the Minister of PANRB Rini Widyantini in guarding and strengthening bureaucratic reform.
