JAKARTA – Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Rini Widyantini welcomes Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Wahyu Sakti Trenggono at the Ministry of PANRB Office, Jakarta, Tuesday (30/10). The meeting discussed strengthening policies in the marine and fisheries sector as directed by President Prabowo Subianto.
“Various things were discussed in this meeting. One of them is strengthening governance within the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries,” he said.
The meeting also discussed the institutional evaluation of government institutions at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. This evaluation will then become material for the drafting of a Presidential Regulation on the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.
Minister Rini said that the Ministry of PANRB is ready to support the strengthening of institutional governance, human resources, and performance assessment aspects in the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.
“The role of the PANRB Ministry in other ministries/institutions is to provide support to ensure that policies can be implemented properly from the aspect of governance,” she said.
On the same occasion, Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Wahyu Sakti Trenggono also expressed his aspiration and appreciation to the Ministry of PANRB.
Furthermore, he hopes that the institutional arrangement that is being carried out in the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries can have an impact on the wider community.
“Thank you, Minister of PANRB and staff. The discussion we have today is done for one purpose only, which is to create an effective and efficient government, and to give the best contribution to the people,” he concluded.
Attending the meeting were Deputy Minister of PANRB Purwadi Arianto, Deputy Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Didit Herdiawan Ashaf, Acting Secretary of the Ministry of PANRB Erwan Agus Purwanto, Deputy for Institutional and Governance of the Ministry of PANRB Nanik Murwati, as well as Madya and Primary High Leaders in the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.
