Meanwhile, to accelerate the implementation of SPBE, it was conveyed that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has inaugurated Indonesian GovTech, known as INA DIGITAL, which will help accelerate and interoperability of various data and systems in Indonesia.

“The President said that technology must facilitate services to the community and hopes that INA Digital can be at the forefront in overseeing various government service applications,” he said.

On that occasion, Data, AI, and Civic Tech Expert Ainun Najib invited the diaspora spread throughout the world, with various talents, to contribute to the progress of the country.

“Alhamdulillah, I am very happy that tonight Indonesian diaspora friends can meet the Minister of PANRB, Mr. Abdullah Azwar Anas, and hopefully this will be one of the initial efforts for diaspora friends to contribute to the country. Furthermore, Principal Specialist Solution Architect Amazon Web Service Singapore Agus Komang said that Indonesia’s progress in entering a new chapter in digital transformation is a very good initiative and a starting point for Indonesia to become the digital version of gold.

“Firstly, the establishment of GovTech Indonesia is a very good start. I have seen other countries, including Singapore with its GovTech Singapore that executes digital transformation for the government, it’s a very good start,” he said.

“And I see that there are projects that are prioritized by the government and one of them that I am really excited about is Ina Pass, which is a national digital identity for Indonesia, which is one of the good projects,” he continued.
