JAKARTA – Procurement of state civil apparatus (ASN) is held to fulfill the needs of human resources that are right on target, right in number, and right for use. Recruitment of qualified ASN is carried out to improve the quality of public services in supporting the smooth implementation of tasks and services to the community.
In light of this, Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas urged the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) and all Regional Offices to ensure the smooth recruitment of CASN in 2024.
He urged BKN to prepare a complaint handling strategy at every BKN office point at the center, regional, and Technical Implementation Unit (UPT).
“An information center or crisis center needs to be prepared at every BKN office point both online and offline. Extra manpower is needed for complaint handling and handling various information related to CPNS, PPPK, and non-ASN,” he said during a meeting with BKN Regional Offices throughout Indonesia that is held in a hybrid manner, Tuesday (10/9).
Anas said that all BKN Regional Offices as technical implementers of CASN recruitment are spearheading the smooth implementation of CASN.
The Crisis Centre is expected to handle complaints from the public or prospective CASN applicants in 2024.
BKN is encouraged to prepare a standard operating procedure (SOP) as a guide to answer crucial questions that are often asked by prospective applicants related to CASN procurement.
“Periodically, coordination needs to be carried out with all Regional Offices as there will be many questions from prospective CPNS and PPPK applicants who need to get a good explanation, so that there is a common understanding,” he said.
He added that a joint commitment is needed in overseeing the implementation of CASN recruitment in 2024. All Selection Committees are also urged to maintain the integrity and morality of CASN procurement.
Anas hopes that BKN can optimize the complaint handling mechanism so that questions and complaints from the public can be handled properly.
Regarding the handling of public complaints about CASN 2024, BKN will activate the SSCASN Task Force that will handle questions that are often asked by the public.
“BKN has provided PICs who will handle the CASN selection support,” said Acting Head of BKN Haryomo Dwi Putranto.
In addition, BKN has provided a Help Centre for prospective CASN applicants through https://helpdesk-sscasn.bkn.go.id/.
In the helpdesk service, prospective applicants can ask about problems related to personal data, ASN data complaints, problems related to password security, and other complaints.
Haryomo revealed that the registration for CPNS in 2024 had opened on 20 August to 10 September 2024. Applicants register through the https://sscasn.bkn.go.id page.
“The CPNS procurement will be closed on 10 September 2024 at 23:59 WIB. After that, it will be closed automatically except for two institutions, namely the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Education and Culture, whose registration is postponed until 13 September,” he explained.
In this regard, Haryomo also explained the statistics of CPNS applicants in 2024 based on BKN data as of 9 September 2024 at 20.00 WIB.
It is recorded that the number of applicants who have registered (who have chosen the institution) is 3.6 million and submit (have ended the registration/resume) is 2.7 million.
To avoid system disruptions on the SSCASN website on the last day of registration, Haryomo urged prospective CPNS applicants not to submit when approaching the final registration deadline.
“We have also given a letter to all PPK to inform the entire community to immediately submit so as not to accumulate at injury time. Because, if it piles up at the end, it can disrupt the SSCASN system and worry about bottlenecks,” he concluded.
