BANYUWANGI – The Banyuwangi Regency Government held a ceremony to commemorate the 53rd Anniversary of the Indonesian Republican Employee Corps (KORPRI) at Blambangan Park on Wednesday (4/12/2024). The ceremony was attended by hundreds of KORPRI members who are state civil servants (ASN) from various regional apparatus organisation (OPD) units ranging from offices, agencies, to sub-districts.
At the ceremony, Acting Regional Secretary Guntur Priambodo acted as the ceremony inspector. He delivered the mandate of the ceremony by reading the remarks of President Prabowo Subianto for the 53rd KORPRI Anniversary.
“As a strategic component of the nation, KORPRI plays a role as the adhesive and unifier of the nation. Therefore, I ask KORPRI to continue to be accommodated in the officialdom, so that ASN aspirations can be accommodated and channelled proportionally and professionally in order to fully support the government tasks,” he said.
In addition, Guntur also conveyed the President’s message on a number of things that must be guided by ASN. Among other things, ASN is asked to strengthen solidarity and cooperation, encourage innovation and efficiency, strengthen integrity and discipline, ensure access to healthy food for vulnerable groups, support energy security by transitioning to renewable energy, and reducing imports.

“ASN can also play a role in reducing poverty through collaboration on poverty alleviation programmes with related ministries. And continue to maintain neutrality and loyalty,” he said.
After the ceremony, Guntur cut tumpeng as a sign of gratitude for the age of KORPRI. On this occasion, a number of prizes were also handed over to the participants of the 53rd KORPRI Anniversary competition held by the Banyuwangi Regency Government. Starting from the KORPRI Panca Prasetya recitation competition, reciting the 1945 Constitution, to the Pamong Hymn choir between Regional Apparatus Organisations (OPD).
First place for reciting the Panca Prasetya KORPRI was won by Nurma Yunita from the Youth and Sports Office. First place for reciting the Panca Prasetya KORPRI was won by Khoirul Hidayat from the Social Service for Women’s Empowerment and Family Planning. While the Tegaldlimo Subdistrict Korwilkersatdik choir won the first place of the Pamong Hymn choir.
The ceremony was also attended by representatives of Forkopimda, Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB), Journalists Association of the Republic of Indonesia (PWRI), and a number of other invitees.
