JAKARTA – Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) telah mengumumkan seluruh nominasi Academy Awards ke-96 atau Piala Oscar 2024.
Ajang kali ini menghadirkan total 23 nominasi, yang diumumkan oleh Zazie Beetz (pemeran film “Atlanta & Joker”) dan Jack Quaid (pemeran film “The Boys” & “Oppenheimer”) dari Teater Samuel Goldwyn di Beverly Hills, California.
Film “Oppenheimer” karya Christopher Nolan menjadi yang menerima paling banyak nominasi, dengan total 13 nominasi termasuk Best Picture dan Best Director.
Sementara itu, “Barbie”, yang kerap dinilai sama fenomenalnya dengan “Oppenheimer”, hanya mendapat delapan nominasi.
Upacara penganugerahan Piala Oscar dijadwalkan berlangsung di Dolly Theater, California, pada 10 Maret 2024 mendatang.
Acara ini akan kembali dipandu oleh pembawa acara talk show tersohor Jimmy Kimmel–yang tahun ini akan mencatatkan namanya sebagai pemandu ajang tersebut untuk keempat kalinya.
