JAKARTA – Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas said that data plays an important role in digital transformation. The government continues to accelerate digital transformation through the use of One Data Indonesia (SDI).

Anas also appreciated the steps taken by the Ministry of National Development Planning (PPN)/Bappenas in realizing integrated data.

“We strengthen the awareness of each government agency to optimize and maximize the SDI policy. The point is how we integrate this data in order to let people possess the luxury of data,” he said during the SDI Steering Board Meeting at the Ministry of PANRB Office, Tuesday (30/7).

It was explained that the Ministry of PANRB is currently in the process of preparing the Architecture Framework of the National Bureaucratic Reform Grand Design (GDRBN) 2025-2045. One of the five goals of the GDRBN is the realization of digital transformation.

Meanwhile, in the BR Road Map 2025-2029 that is being prepared, it has determined SDI to be one of the target indicators of the priority activities of the national BR roadmap.

According to him, the implementation of integrated services can be achieved through the implementation of a data exchange framework that is consistent with the policy of SDI.

By effectively interoperating data from various ministries and agencies, it not only improves system efficiency, but also ensures that public services become more responsive and impactful for the community starting from priority Electronic Based Government System (SPBE) services.

The Data Model Platform developed by SDI is expected to support the acceleration of digital transformation through the identification of duplication of various applications and data used by the government today.

It will also support the implementation of integrated government digital services through INA DIGITAL as GovTech Indonesia, in identifying parent data sources and producers, becoming reference data used by all Central Agencies and Regional Governments.

Meanwhile, Minister of PPN/Head of Bappenas Suharso Monoarfa explained that digital transformation can improve efficiency, accountability in the public service sector, and development planning. It is said to aim to create a data ecosystem that is accurate and accessible to all interested parties.

SDI is currently developing a Data Model Platform that will help identify data duplication and encourage efficiency and effectiveness in data collection activities and the development of Electronic Based Government Systems (SPBE).

“To encourage the fulfillment of SDI principles at the Central and Regional levels, a grand design of Impactful Bureaucratic Reform assessment is currently being prepared which includes an evaluation mechanism for the implementation of SDI which will be a strong synergy in the formation of an integrated Digital Government,” he said.

Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin said that there should be no data duplication in digital transformation. Therefore, his party only collects data on the health sector, while population data will be taken from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

“Then the data we collect must be useful to the users, the community,” he said.

On the occasion, Minister of Communications and Informatics Budi Arie Setiadi said SDI is a part of consolidation in realizing digital-based public services. Digital transformation efforts that are being carried out are a manifestation of the government being present for the community.

“We hope that this SDI will be felt by the community. Don’t let people in one region feel different from other regions,” he concluded.
