JAKARTA – Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas congratulates 91 regional governments that received the best governance practices award in Anugerah Pandu Negeri 2024, in Jakarta, Thursday (5/9).
Anas assessed that the awardees showed the government’s real commitment in implementing bureaucratic reforms (BR) that have a direct impact on society.
“Congratulations to all awardees who have helped support and always implement the best governance and governance practices in the public sector,” he said as the keynote speaker at the Anugerah Pandu Negeri 2024.
Anugerah Pandu Negeri is a form of award given by the Indonesian Institute for Public Governance (IIPG) to provincial, district, and city governments, especially in the 3T (frontier, underdeveloped, outermost) areas that have successfully implemented good performance and governance practices in their regions.
On this occasion, Anas also appreciated the Anugerah Pandu Negeri event which routinely assesses governance practices in regional governments.
The former Banyuwangi Regent said that in implementing good governance and governance practices, it is necessary to strengthen innovation and multi-sector collaboration in government institutions.
This is in line with the government’s efforts to accelerate bureaucratic reform through thematic bureaucratic reform.
“Based on the study conducted by Deloitte, now is the time to collaborate in building innovation, not compete with each other. No one can achieve their goals without influencing others,” he added.
IIPG initiator (Chairman of IICD-IIPG 2012-2024) Sigit Pramono said IIPG became the government’s strategic partner in supporting public sector governance reform to achieve the best performance by maintaining multi-sector synergy and harmonization.
“We hope that this award will continue to support and encourage regional governments to always implement best practices in governance and innovation in the regions to improve sustainable competitiveness,” Sigit concluded.
