BANYUWANGI – Maia Anggita Lintang from Banyuwangi Subdistrict and Ken Affila Syach Maulana from Giri Subdistrict were awarded as winners at the Jebeng Thulik Banyuwangi 2024 event held at the Cultural Arts Building on Friday night (6/12/2024).
Both of them will soon work as Development Ambassadors of Banyuwangi Regency.
Jebeng Maia who is a student at SMAN 1 Glagah and Thulik Ken, a student at the State Polytechnic of Banyuwangi, successfully won over hundreds of other contestants. They were selected as winners after defeating 10 other pairs of contestants who had also qualified for the final after undergoing a quarantine period.
“Congratulations to the winners of Jebeng Thulik 2024. May you be able to carry the mandate and become the representatives of Banyuwangi’s young people who are strong and qualified. Also, congratulations to other finalists as you all are awesome,” said Banyuwangi Regent Ipuk Fiestiandani, who attended the event virtually.

In her speech, Ipuk conveyed that the event is a part of the Banyuwangi Regency Government’s efforts to invite the younger generations to promote all the potential of the region.
“This is part of our effort to invite the younger generations to participate in showcasing Banyuwangi’s wealth not only in arts, culture, and tourism, but also in a variety of achievements and economic potentials that can be developed,” she explained.
Also present in the event were Vice Regent of Banyuwangi Sugirah, the representatives of Forpimda, and ranks of Banyuwangi Regency OPD.
The Banyuwangi Development Ambassador election event was lively, with thousands of spectators as well as supporters from each sub-district present to encourage their representatives.
