JAKARTA – The Director General (Dirjen) of Village Government Development (Bina Pemdes) of the Ministry of Home Affairs Eko Prasetyanto Purnomo Putro requested that there should be no practical political practices in the Village Governance Strengthening and Developing Program (P3PD).
One part of the program is Village Apparatus Training which will take place in September 2023.
“Don’t bring practical politics into the training sessions,” said Eko at the Central and Regional Coordination Meeting for Assistance and Supervision of Village Apparatus Training a while ago.
The message not to carry out practical politics also came from the Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian.
So, practical political practices must be removed from the topic of discussion in every training activity.
“The message from our minister is to stay away from practical politics in any training activities,” Eko said.
He also reminded his staff that the task of the Directorate General of Bina Pemdes is to try to increase the capacity of the village apparatus.
Thus, training, such as the Training of Trainer (TOT) which aims to educate village officials, must be used as well as possible so that it can support efforts to advance regions in Indonesia.
“We are only increasing the capacity of the village apparatus. Don’t bring practical politics into the activities,” said Eko.
In addition, every training will be closely monitored by the central government. So, he requested that the local governments participating in the training really take part and work hand in hand to make this program a success. (NEWS ADVERTORIAL)
