JAKARTA – Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Rini Widyantini and Deputy Minister of PANRB Purwadi Arianto have prepared a number of breakthroughs to continue the relay of public service improvement and bureaucratic reform after being officially appointed.
Both will focus on priority programmes that are in line with the government’s vision and mission, particularly in realizing the sustainability of effective, transparent, and accountable bureaucratic reform.
“With the full support of all elements of the Ministry of PANRB and cross-sector collaboration, I hope we will be able to face the challenges and bring Indonesia’s bureaucratic reforms to a better direction,” said Rini during the Handover of Position of PANRB Minister from Abdullah Azwar Anas to Rini Widyantini at the PANRB Ministry Office, Jakarta, Monday (21/10).
She also expressed her appreciation to the Minister of PANRB of the Indonesia Maju Cabinet Abdullah Azwar Anas who has provided a valuable legacy for the Ministry of PANRB and all levels of bureaucracy in Indonesia.
“Under his leadership, we witnessed strategies that had a significant impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of public services in Indonesia. He also encouraged the acceleration of government digitalisation through SPBE,” he said.
Deputy Minister of PANRB Purwadi Arianto emphasised that the main foundation of the reign of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka is Asta Cita, which is the main guide in building Indonesia into a strong, prosperous, and just country.
Under the new leadership, the Ministry of PANRB will oversee the implementation of this bureaucratic reform as well as possible, especially in the digital transformation of public services.
“Together with Mrs. PANRB Minister, I am committed to realizing an adaptive and responsive bureaucracy. I believe that, with solid support and cooperation, we will be able to face the challenges and provide the best service for the community,” he said.
The high-ranking police officer who previously served as Head of the National Police Education and Training Institute also expressed his gratitude to Abdullah Azwar Anas for orchestrating the bureaucratic transformation to have an impact and be felt by the wider community. He hopes Anas’ hard work will become a solid foundation for the nation’s progress.
On the same occasion, Minister of PANRB of the Indonesia Maju Cabinet Abdullah Azwar Anas expressed his support for the new Minister and Deputy Minister of PANRB.
According to him, both are the right figures to lead various improvements in the fields of public services, human resources, and government accountability.
He also expressed his gratitude that the leadership of the Ministry has been passed on to a highly competent and experienced person.
“Mrs. Rini is not a new face in the Ministry. She has been working for a long time and has a deep understanding of bureaucratic reform and public service policies. I am confident that under her leadership, the Ministry will be more solid and able to meet the challenges ahead,” she concluded.
