KLUNGKUNG – Acting Regent of Klungkung I Nyoman Jendrika opened the opening event of the Public Consultation Forum for the Initial Draft of the Klungkung Regency RKPD Year 2025 which took place in the Praja Mandala Meeting Room of the Klungkung Regent’s Office, Wednesday (31/1).
During the event, he conveyed that regional development is an effort to optimize the utilization of regional resources to increase and equalize community income, employment opportunities, and business opportunities as well to improve access and quality of public services and regional competitiveness.
The priority programmes for the 2025 RKPD are as follows, Waste Management; Infrastructure Improvement and Equity; Poverty Alleviation; Handling Stunting; Inflation Alleviation; Productive Economic Development; and Labour Productivity Improvement.
He also added that, starting this year, the Klungkung Regency Government will prepare an allocation of District Development Fund of Rp5 billion.
The funds will be prioritised to be used to address waste issues, alleviate poverty, and develop a productive economy.
I Nyoman Jendrika advised that the proposals planned to be funded from the Sub-district Development Fund should be agreed upon during the Sub-district Musrenbang.
The proposal is to focus on addressing the above problems and not just be equally distributed to each village.
“Hopefully the Public Consultation Forum for the Initial Draft of the Klungkung Regency RKPD Year 2025 will run smoothly and can produce the formulation of goals, objectives, priority programmes, strategies, and regional development programmes that meet the needs of the people of Klungkung Regency,” he said.
Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Klungkung Regency I Ketut Arie Gunawan reported that the Public Consultation Forum for the Initial Draft of the Regional Development Work Plan (RKPD) of Klungkung Regency Year 2025 is an agenda to receive input, suggestions, and directions from various stakeholders, in order to improve the initial draft of the RKPD, especially the RKPD of 2025.
He also said that the purpose of this event was to agree on the proposed problems, regional development priorities, indicative ceiling programmes, indicators, and performance standards.
The event was attended by approximately 100 people consisting of DPRD elements, regent expert staff, assistants, and other related agencies. The cost of implementation is charged to the Klungkung Regency Budget for Fiscal Year 2024.
This event was also held in a hybrid manner, with an online broadcast followed by ASN in the Klungkung Regency Government and offline held in the Praja Mandala Meeting Room of the Klungkung Regent’s Office.
Also present at the event was the General Administration Assistant (Assistant 3) of the Klungkung Regency Government, Dewa Gde Darmawan, and other relevant invitees.
