“The Ministry of Villages is focused on encouraging community participation in villages,” he said.

The main focus of this program is the provision and development of support for governance, development, empowerment of village communities that is accountable, participatory, and in accordance with local needs.

One to note, P3PD should have been implemented since 2020 and will end in 2024, with a total location coverage of 380 districts/cities.

However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this program could only be optimized this year.

Apart from that, Eko also hopes that the central government and regional governments can synergize and support the program so its purposes are achieved more optimally. This support takes the form of financing to the sub-district. (ADVERTORIAL)
