MALANG – The Director General (Dirjen) of Village Government Development (Bina Pemdes) of the Ministry of Home Affairs Eko Prasetyanto Purnomo Putro requested that the implementation of Village Apparatus Training (PAD) in the Village Governance Strengthening and Developing Program (P3PD) pay attention to participants who live in island areas.

“We ask you to reach out (to the islands) and run well,” said Eko at the Regional Government Stakeholders Strengthening Meeting held in Malang a while ago.

One to note that several locations currently do not have a complete team of RMC (regional management consultant) experts.

Therefore, Eko requested that the shortage of experts be reported to the center by the respective RMC teams in 33 provinces in Indonesia.

“The team at the center is in the process of completing this equipment. “However, it must be reported so that when it is implemented we don’t lack personnel,” said Eko.

Responding to this, the Secretary of the CPMU (central project management unit) of P3PD, Chaerul Dwi Sapta, said that his party would coordinate with the PMD (community and village empowerment) Service, the District Service, RMC, and organizers of village apparatus trainings.

“Each Regional Government Department and RMC must coordinate with the district. It’s a must! Because our target by 2024 is 380 districts,” he said.

He also requested that RMC use technology to find out PAD participants who live in island areas so that the P3PD program can be carried out successfully. (NEWS ADVERTORIAL)
