The Editor has summarised villages whose officials have successfully implemented P3PD training to perfection. For those of you who are currently in the position of village officials, this list may be an inspiration.
1. P3PD Training Encourages Kutuh Village Head to Be More Creative, Create Village Regulation for Parking and Investor Fees

Training in the Village Governance and Development Strengthening Programme (P3PD) gave the Head of Kutuh Village I Wayan Mudana the courage to propose a new Village Regulation to attract levies for investors and tourism players in his famously beautiful area.
I Wayan said that the first time he learnt about the Village Regulation on Levies was during the P3PD training at the Hilton Hotel in 2023.
“Because we only know a little. We only analyze it in a simple way. We even thought that levies were not allowed, and it turns out that they are allowed through the Village Regulation. As long as the decision is in accordance with the regulations and approved by local leaders, it is allowed. We just found out,” he explained happily.
Ever since the P3PD meeting in 2023, I Wayan has been more dilligent in attending meetings on a local and national scale with Gianyar village officials. This is done so that the Village Regulation on Levy can be issued and implemented in 2025.

Although a new tourist attraction, Muara Oba Beach has generated an average income of Rp7 million per month since July 2024.
According to Sabtu Kene, people are enjoying their holiday on the beach enthusiastically because it has many entertainment options and delicious culinary offerings.
“The P3PD training sharpened my vision and mission,” he said.
3. Thanks to P3PD Training, the People of Sambirejo Village Are No Longer Just Spectators When Investors Come

The Head of Sambirejo Village Wahyu Nugroho said that his villagers are no longer just spectators when investors come because he managed to develop a new spatial design that involves the community in village development.
To The Editor, Wahyu said that he came up with the new spatial design after participating in the P3PD training at the end of 2023.
The first thing he did in early 2024 was to coordinate with the authorities to draw the village boundaries. The aim was to find out what potential Sambirejo Village has.
The results of the mapping, he continued, will be used as a benchmark to develop a ‘master plan’ for village development.
Wahyu admitted that this method had never occurred to him before. Thanks to the P3PD training, he added, his village will soon have a digital village boundary map in the future.
“We now know our geographical conditions. When we know the area, we also know the condition of the land, whether it is suitable for livestock, agriculture, tourism, and so on,” Wahyu said.
In addition, from the P3PD training, Wahyu also started to plan to compile data on investors who want to enter Sambirejo Village.
4. Sintuwulemba Village Has The Courage to be Transparent About Village Expenditure to The Public After Attending P3PD Training

Sintuwulemba Village Head Arif Pokan is now more courageous in being transparent to the public after his officers attended P3PD training at the end of 2023.
Not only that, he also said that the P3PD training brought Sintulemba to be one of the most transparent villages in the management of village funds.
In order to be transparent, Arif admitted that he dared to use an online digital system to manage village funds from previously only using a manual system.
“It used to be manual only. After participating in the P3PD training, we know that the village financial system built by the Ministry of Home Affairs and PTKP makes it very easy to manage financial funds in the village,” he said.
Sintuwulemba village officials who initially did not have any knowledge about how to manage village funds online have now changed.
He even admitted that the P3PD training changed the face of his village in just a few months.
