NGAWI – Ngawi Religious Court (PA) is recommended to upgrade from class I B to class I A.
Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas ensured that the Ngawi Religious Court has fulfilled various requirements to immediately upgrade both from the substantive elements that describe the main functions of the court and the supporting elements which are the supporting components in carrying out the main functions.
“Ngawi Religious Court is deemed worthy to be upgraded in stage I because it has a score of more than the specified threshold of 88.15 and has received the title of a Corruption-Free Area (WBK),” said Anas when reviewing services at PA Ngawi, Thursday (27/6).
Ngawi Religious Court passed the selection and evaluation of WBK assessment along with 558 work units throughout Indonesia.
Of this number, 43 of them came from the work unit of the Indonesian Supreme Court, including PA Ngawi, which has the right to get the WBK title in 2021.
Minister Anas explained that the upgrading of the court needs to be accompanied by strengthening the synergy of the court with all other law enforcers such as the police, prosecutors, correctional institutions, as well as the advocates in the Ngawi area.
According to him, this collaboration will greatly assist PA Ngawi in facing the various challenges ahead.
The Ngawi Religious Court is required to be able to optimally improve its ability and integrity and avoid abuse of its position.
“In addition, PA Ngawi must be able to improve its professional capabilities in order to respond to the rapid changes that develop in society,” he said.
There are currently 19 sub-districts within the jurisdiction of the Ngawi Religious Court.
This court was established in 1882 based on stbl. 1882 Number: 152 dated 19 January 1882 (later amended by stbl. 1937 Number: 116 and additional additions by stbl 1937 Number: 610).
Ngawi Religious Court Chairman Mohammad Anton Dwi Saputra expressed his gratitude for the attention given to PA Ngawi by the Minister of PANRB.
He and his staff are committed to continue to improve and provide better services to the community.
“Since being given the mandate as Chairman of the Ngawi Religious Court, I have been obliged and responsible to continue to oversee it to become a better institution in the future,” he said.
