To deal with this, the government has prepared various schemes so that the flow of people’s journeys remains safe and smooth.
Preparations are being made for land, sea, and air transport.
“The government has anticipated it by preparing several measures, including land transport arrangements. And we hope that the handling of land traffic will be much better than last year’s holidays,” Muhadjir said in a press statement after the Ministerial Meeting on Preparations for Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024, at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for HDCA, Jakarta, Monday (11/12).

Based on data from the Ministry of Transportation, around 107.63 million people will travel during the upcoming Christmas-New Year holiday.
