JAKARTA – Plh. Secretary General (Setjen) of DPD RI Lalu Niqman Zahir opened the 2023 Innovation Festival.
The festival is expected to be an important moment for the DPD RI Secretariat General to celebrate the innovations that have been achieved, as well as strengthen the commitment to continue to encourage innovation in the future.
“As part of the legislature, we are aware that the challenges faced by Indonesia are very complex. For this reason, innovative solutions are needed from various parties,” said Lalu Niqman Zahir at the DPD RI Building, Jakarta, Thursday (2/3).
Lalu Niqman Zahir then added that the DPD RI Secretariat General had also held a digital transformation declaration in 2021.
Since the declaration, various digital innovations have been encouraged.
“We believe innovation is the key to progress. Innovation allows us to create new things, improve the existing ones, and overcome the challenges we face,” he emphasized.
The Secretariat General of DPD RI as a supporting system has the responsibility to encourage innovation in all aspects of activities.
Starting from how to manage administration and data, to how to socialize and communicate with the community.
“We need to keep looking for new and more effective ways to improve our performance,” said Lalu Niqman Zahir.
Lalu Niqman Zahir considered that the 2023 DPD RI General Secretariat Innovation Festival was the right place for work units to collaborate and share ideas, as well as gain experience in creating innovative and sustainable solutions.
“In this event, we will discuss, share knowledge, and show the innovative works that have been produced,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Membership and Personnel Organization Bureau of the DPD RI Secretariat General Fitriani said the festival will be held for two days, on 2 and 3 March 2023.
In addition, this festival is done by hybrid (online and offline) and is attended by all officials and employees both at the center and all DPD RI offices in the provinces.
“This activity is an exhibition of excellent services from echelon II units of the DPD RI Secretariat General, and is the first time an activity has been held with an exhibition format like this,” he said.
Fitriani added that the aim of holding the Innovation Festival is to introduce the results of the performance and services of each echelon II unit to all employees of the DPD RI Secretariat General and stakeholders.
In addition, this event is also a place to improve work culture in order to motivate all echelon II units to mingle and collaborate with each other.
“Innovation Festival 2023 consists of several series of events such as talk shows and discussions. Apart from that, there was also an innovation exhibition or excellent service which was attended by 11 echelon II units of the DPD RI Secretariat General,” he explained.
