“I really appreciate the efforts of the Minister who always encourages cooperation between Indonesia and Azerbaijan in the field of public services,” he said at the Vice Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Monday (1/7).

During the meeting, the Vice President highlighted Azerbaijan’s adaptation of technology and innovation in Xidmat’s Azerbaijani Service and Assessment Network (ASAN) which has been successfully implemented in Indonesia through the Public Service Mall (MPP).

He hoped that Azerbaijan could share developments related to various public service innovations carried out in their country, which may be adopted by Indonesia in the future.

“Indonesia and Azerbaijan have the same interest in creating various conveniences in the provision of public services for the community and the business world in order to increase economic growth and investment,” he said.

One concrete example of this cooperation is the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of PANRB and ASAN Service Azerbaijan, which aims to strengthen cooperation in the field of public services.

“I have established good relations with Azerbaijan since 2014, so today we have renewed the MoU that has been running since 2017,” Minister Anas said in a press statement after the meeting.

Anas also expressed his appreciation for Mehdiyev’s visit. Based on this good relationship, Indonesia and Azerbaijan have signed an action plan for the implementation of the MoU between the Minister of PANRB and the Public Service and Social Innovation Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan for cooperation in providing excellent public services.

Ulvi explained that ASAN Xidmat was established 12 years ago and its concept has been awarded twice by the United Nations (UN) as the best MPP.

“The ASAN concept is a one-stop concept, where many public services are carried out in one place. ASAN provides more than 400 public companies in the same place, providing more than 100 types of public services,” he explained.

Meanwhile, Indonesia has so far established 207 MPPs, some of which have implemented Digital MPP. The existence of MPP is strengthened by Presidential Regulation No. 89/2021 on the Implementation of MPP.
