JAKARTA – The Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) encourages the easy mobility of national talents, especially in Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) and 3T (Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost) regions.
In an effort to strengthen the talent mobility of the state civil apparatus (ASN) nationally and the highlight of the 2023 Anugerah ASN event, the Ministry of PANRB initiated the ASN Talent Fest 2024 and Anugerah ASN 2023. The event will be held on Tuesday, 27 August, at the Auditorium of Dhanapala Building, Central Jakarta.
“In addition to strengthening national talent mobility, the festival also aims to identify, develop, and promote superior talents among ASNs who can be rotated or transferred to strategic positions in the government,” said Acting Deputy Head of Human Resources of the Ministry of PANRB Aba Subagja, in Jakarta, Monday (26/8).
Talent mobility, according to him, is important to ensure that ASN has a fair and equitable opportunity to develop, both professionally and personally, and contribute optimally in public services.
The mobility of ASN talent is one of the strategic efforts in improving the performance and effectiveness of the government bureaucracy.
The series of ASN Talent Fest 2024 and Anugerah ASN 2023 activities consisted of the delivery of Talent Management policy direction through ASN talent mobility, the awarding of Anugerah ASN 2023 by PANRB Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas, and exhibitions.
Visitors can visit the exhibition booths of participating agencies while getting various interesting and useful information.
Participating agencies include Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) related to scholarship information for ASN, the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) related to staffing and infrastructure, the Social Security Organisation (BPJS) on Employment, Perum Peruri, the Ministry of Home Affairs related to the recording of Digital Population Identification (IKD), the Ministry of PANRB related to “Boleh Tanya” policies, and the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) booth, as well as Talent Fest which presents information related to talent mobility.
ASN Talent Fest 2024 and Anugerah ASN will be attended by all government agencies and invited guests with a total of 1,000 participants including 148 Anugerah ASN 2023 candidates.
This event is expected to encourage the formation of talent pools in government agencies, especially in IKN and 3T areas, and encourage the creation of competitive and professional ASNs to provide impactful public services.
“Through this event, the government wants to give the highest appreciation to ASN for their achievements and outstanding performance,” concluded Aba.
