THE EDITOR – Minister of Home Affairs Muhammad Tito Karnavian as the Supervisor of the Family Empowerment and Welfare Team (TP PKK) said that TP PKK really needs a strong leader and work team. This is because TP PKK is a large community organization that reaches all social aspects.
“If the team is strong, consists of the right people, and the chairperson also has the ability to move and wants to move, then surely the PKK will do its works right,” he said at the Inauguration of the Chairperson of the TP PKK and Posyandu Supervisor as well as the TP PKK Central Board and Posyandu Supervisor for the 2024–2029 Service Period at Balai Sudirman Jakarta, Tuesday (19/11/2024).
PKK and Posyandu strengthen the Strengthening Village Governance and Development Programme (P3PD).
The Minister added that TP PKK is a very important community organization because it has a network down to the family level. Therefore, this organization needs to be supported by those who have strong strength and resources. This is one of the reasons why the head of the TP PKK in the region is held by the wife of the regional head.
“Why wasn’t someone else chosen? It is the wife of the most powerful leader in the region,” she said.
With the support of the regional head, the Minister hopes that the regional TP PKK Chairperson can run the organizational machine so that various programs can be carried out well.
“There is a willingness to move first and then there is the ability,” he said.
On the occasion, the Minister of Home Affairs officially inaugurated Tri Tito Karnavian as Chairperson of the TP PKK and Chairperson of the Posyandu Supervisory Team for the 2024–2029 term.
TP PKK CHAIRPERSON URGED TO REALISE ASTA CITA
When inaugurating Tri Tito Karnavian as Chairperson of the TP PKK and Chairperson of the Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) Supervisory Team for the 2024–2029 term, Minister Tito asked them to focus on working and implementing the big Asta Cita programmes launched by President Prabowo Subianto, especially the programmes related to food security.
At the same time, the Minister also inaugurated the management of the Central TP PKK and the Central Posyandu Supervisory Team for the same term of office.
“Among the most important things President Prabowo has said repeatedly is that the eight Asta Cita should be studied by PKK and Posyandu where they can contribute,” he said at Balai Sudirman Jakarta, Tuesday (19/11/2024).
In addition to food security, the Minister also mentioned efforts to save household energy such as electricity and gas, which are considered to contribute to efforts to realize the Asta Cita.
Therefore, TP PKK administrators and the community can take steps to save energy in their respective area.
“It was conveyed repeatedly by Mr. President. Food security, energy. But you don’t need to think too much. You can do what can be done by yourself,” he said.
He hopes that this inauguration can be a beginning that has a big impact, so that the TP PKK and Posyandu movements nationally can develop better under the new management.
