JAKARTA – Recruitment of State Civil Apparatus Candidates (CPNS) will begin on 20 August to 6 September 2024. Aspiring candidates can register through the https://sscasn.bkn.go.id page as a total of 250,407 formations have been prepared by the government in this recruitment.
The government will also open the recruitment of Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) to complete the arrangement of non-ASN personnel (honorary) who are now in the verification process.
Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas revealed that the opportunity to become a state apparatus is wide open for the nation’s best people.
Therefore, before registration begins, aspiring candidates are encouraged to prepare themselves by paying attention to the requirements and procedures for CPNS 2024 registration.
“There are 250,407 formations that we are providing for the best fresh graduates this year. These formations are divided into 114,706 formations for central agencies and 135,701 formations for regional agencies,” said Minister Anas in Jakarta, Thursday (15/8).
He said that aspiring candidates are asked to actively seek information from reliable sources such as official websites and social media belonging to the PANRB Ministry, the National Civil Service Agency (BKN), and government agencies that will open CPNS recruitment.
The 2024 CPNS procurement, he continued, is not only to fulfill the needs of civil apparatus, but also Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK).
“Gradually, PPPK recruitment will be opened for the continuation of the arrangement of non-ASN or honorary personnel in 2024, which is currently in the process of verification and validation. We will announce the PPPK recruitment soon when the verification and validation process is complete,” he explained.
The Ministry of PANRB has issued a policy on state civil apparatus procurement for the 2024 fiscal year through Decree of the Minister of PANRB No. 320/2024 on the Selection Mechanism for Civil Apparatus Procurement FY 2024 and Decree of the Minister of PANRB No. 321/2024 on the Threshold Value for Basic Competency Selection for Civil Apparatus Procurement FY 2024. The types of needs in the 2024 Civil Apparatus Procurement consist of General Needs and Special Needs.
Special needs are reserved for persons with disabilities, cum laude, diaspora, people of Papua, people of Kalimantan, and people of 3T (Frontier, Remote and Disadvantaged) areas.
“For fresh graduates, we open greater opportunities than the previous year as the number of CPNS recruitments this year is relatively larger than before,” he added.
Based on the Acting Head of BKN Letter 5419/B-KS.04.01/SD/K/2024 regarding Selection Schedule for CPNS Procurement FY 2024, the selection announcement is made by each government agency on 19 August-2 September 2024.

Minister Anas emphasized that there will be no loopholes for fraud in CPNS recruitment.
All stages of CPNS selection, starting from registration, implementation of selection with CAT, to determining graduation, are integrated and computerized.
“This stage of selection closes the gap of fraud and brokering practices. So there is no one who can help the participants,” Anas concluded.
